Devyn Box
Devyn is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician at the Eddie Bernice Johnson Youth & Family Center Clinic in South Dallas. They earned their Master of Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), where they researched the experiences of transgender and gender non-conforming youth as part of their Master’s Thesis. Devyn serves on two committees in conjunction with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) and community stakeholders, focused on improving care for LGBTQ+ youth. They previously worked as an Investigator for DFPS in Dallas County, and they have served as a guest lecturer and panelist at UTA on issues related to LGBTQ+ experiences and social work practice with this population. Devyn brings a wealth of professional experience with the LGBTQ+ population as well as personal experience as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Devyn uses they/them pronouns.
