Esta presentación ayudará a los padres a comprender cómo la presencia y la conexión calman el sistema nervioso de un niño y sentará las bases para manejar de manera más efectiva los comportamientos desafiantes. En lugar de simplemente reaccionar ante la mala conducta que generalmente agrava aún más al niño, los padres aprenderán a hacer una pausa, regularse y luego responder con intencionalidad y propósito. En última instancia, este enfoque ayudará a los padres a lograr el objetivo a largo plazo de enseñar a los niños a ser autodisciplinados.
